    The Hoesch Museum presents exhibits from 160 years of Dortmund's steel history.

    It starts with the iron and steel industry in the middle of the 19th century and extends to the structural change in the Dortmund area today. The focus is on the history of the Hoesch company, and various manufacturing processes from the iron and steel industry are also explained. Part of the exhibition is also dedicated to the steel workers, the so-called "Hoeschians".
